Toolyconvert Image Resize ("Toolyconvert Image", "we", "us") operates https://resize.toolyconvert.com. We build small, focused utilities that run in the browser so that using them does not require trusting us with your files.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Toolyconvert Image Resize is the data controller for the limited personal data described below. You can reach us at hello@toolyconvert.com.

Using the tool itself does not require an account, a name, or an email address. The files you select are read by your browser and processed locally on your device.

We receive personal data only when you choose to contact us:

• Contact details you include in a message (name, email address, company).
• The content of your message and any attachments you choose to send.
• Technical metadata automatically attached to email, such as the sending server and timestamp.

Like most websites, https://resize.toolyconvert.com records standard technical information when a page is requested. This is collected by a European content delivery network with edge caching in server logs and by privacy-preserving, aggregate page analytics without advertising identifiers.

Typical fields include the requested URL, the time of the request, the approximate country, the browser and device category, and the referring page. IP addresses are truncated or hashed before storage and are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

• Server logs — security, abuse prevention and debugging. Retention: 90 days.
• Aggregate page analytics — which sections are read and how fast pages render. Retention: 14 months, in aggregated form.
• No cross-site profiling, no advertising pixels, and no sale of data to third parties.

The core promise of Toolyconvert Image Resize is that document and image processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript APIs such as Canvas, Blob and File. There is no upload endpoint in the application, so the contents of your files are not transmitted to us and cannot be stored by us.

Because processing is local, the security of the working copy depends on your device. Closing the tab discards it; anyone with access to your device while the tab is open may be able to view it.

Toolyconvert Image does not set advertising cookies and does not use cross-site tracking. We may store a small, non-identifying preference value in your browser's local storage — for example, whether you have dismissed a notice.

You can clear or block these values in your browser settings without affecting the functionality of the tools.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we rely on:

• Legitimate interests — operating a secure, reliable website, understanding aggregate usage, and preventing abuse.
• Consent — where you voluntarily subscribe to updates or submit content for publication.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with tax, accounting or law-enforcement requirements.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, under contracts that limit their use of the data:

• Hosting and content delivery — a European content delivery network with edge caching.
• Analytics — privacy-preserving, aggregate page analytics without advertising identifiers.
• Email delivery, so we can reply to your messages.
• Professional advisers and regulators where disclosure is legally required.

Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on earlier conversations. Server logs are kept for 90 days. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be kept indefinitely because it cannot be linked back to an individual.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and to request a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@toolyconvert.com. We respond within 30 days and will never charge you for a reasonable request. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.

Our tools are general-purpose utilities and are not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The current version is always published at https://resize.toolyconvert.com/privacy with the revision date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site for at least 14 days before they take effect.
